That was a lot of fun to listen to.

Really enjoyed the collaborative storytelling and the way the rules helped frame the narrative. Also, slightly tipsy roleplaying is no bad thing.

Play more! As a bit of wishful thinking, you’ve said elsewhere that you were looking for rules to run a fantasy game…

  2. This was a great episode, although the best part was the post-game discussion, the part where David threw a tantrum when he discovered the random-horror-movie-plot table:
“We could have been fleeing from VAMPIRES in SPACE?! Aw, man, we got the lamest game option on offer!”
Considering how good the result was with a straight-up, classic horror movie plot, imagine how much fun it would be to try out some of the other options; very much hoping you guys find time to play this again (preferable soonish, please? Pretty please, with manslaughter on top?).
“Space knights with laser swords are being eliminated, one by one, by one of their Darther… err, darker brethren”: this might be a good chance for you guys to play Jedi, and actually enjoy it!
You guys have sick, sick, twisted minds (and I mean that in the nicest possible way), so it would be cool to hear what gruesome murder methods you can come up with, once you have Dark Side Force powers at your disposal.
It would also provide a neat twist on the horror movie trope you employed in the recorded game, where some of the murder victims turn out to be murderers in disguise: a group of Jedis, maybe untrained padawans, are being hunted down by a merciless Sith. If they try to defend themselves, will they be able to resist the lure of the Dark Side? Using lethal force against the Sith could easily turn out to be a really bad idea…
Ooh, ooh – place the game on Naboo, because you need someone to be the ‘guy who dies first’, and who would be better suited than Jar Jar Binks?

Thanks again for taking the time to record and upload these, and fingers crossed for Star Wars: Reap-Burning the Jedi.

Faaantastic. Legitimately I adored this episode and shake my fist warily at you for even thinking of not posting it, because this is gold. Most of all because of the degree it showed your strongest trait as an rp group, the ability to build off one another actively. I will be listening to Daniel gm shadowrun soon, and ultimately his not minor contribution here will be a good image of what I’ll see next. You are an atmospheric storyteller and deserve to shine a bit.

Also more than any other episode I really wanted this one in video just to see all the cringing and ewwing as it occured(and possibly the craven look in Jesus’s eye as he creatively explained the gruesome deaths in the bloodbath).

Yes you all really ought to play this again sometime because WOW.
