Great adventure guys! My guess as part of the motivation for the dinobuddy-system was an effort to give the companions character without essentially having players talk to themselves. Maybe it works better as an optional rule for less experienced players?
We’ve seen other games do this as well. It’s not a bad thing, but when we play Predation again, we’re going to keep it as an optional rule. Fun idea but just not a good fit for us.
