  1. MDMann says:

    You guys rollplayed!

The cardinal and church has an easy political win available, sponsoring All Saint’s. To become cardinal he’s got to have political skill too. Of course being shadowrun they’ll be strings attached. Helping the poor and underprivileged helps their image of course but that’s not enough is it? There’s an in for the Irish Italian mob there too.

Another player with an easy political win there is medicart or other medical players such as John Hopkins Institute of Health. They could be willing to install all sorts of cyberware or bioware for a price. Your new doctor friend could even be involved. At the least there could be job offers or opportunities.

    Go get Charles.

  2. CallmeIshma3l says:

Yeah, go find Charlie! Love the game, great as always. Thank you again for sharing.

  3. Svaldbard Seed Vault says:

Man, I love the Shadowrun episodes. Nice work, everyone! Especially David – that clearly took a lot of prep and it paid off.

  4. FandibleDave says:

I’m glad you all like the game! I do put a lot of work into prep and I find printed notes are by far more reliable than using a screen. If there’s one piece of advice I can give anyone, it’s “the old ways are the best ways, print everything out.”

Now I’m going to let you in on a little secret: Did you notice me occasionally coughing in the recording? That’s because I was SICK AS HELL when I ran this game, and I showed up on a delicate balance of cough syrup and caffeine. My recollection of that day is spotty at best, and Billy, Angela, Daniel and Jesus did more than their fair share of keeping the game…. (sunglasses) afloat.

  5. Raven says:

Please tell us there will be more Shadowrun in the future of Fandible!?!

  6. Fairystail says:

Totally could not tell you were sick at all
the lore, setting and characters were beautifully well done and as amazing as usual.
Thank you for the excellent listening pleasure man.

  7. CallmeIshma3l says:

I’m with Raven and Seed Vault: amazing game, all that prep really work paid off, I hope we see more of these in the future. Only slight that digression; your game is inspired me to look more deeply into Shadow Run lore, there are a ton of podcasts the stuff.
I found one that listed off a bunch of actual play shower one podcasts. I can’t remember it’s name, but I hope that Fandible is on their radar. Well I understand that you guys don’t focus on the crunch of Shadowrun as much is some podcasts might, your stories and obvious love of the setting would endear you to even the most hard-core Shadowrun aficionados

  8. Sam says:

Every time Shadowrun comes up on the schedule I get so hype for it, David does a really good job getting everyone through such a crunchy system with minimal frustration. Also I’ve never heard a GM so obviously in love with their setting, the little details are always so cool to hear! (including the fact that David turns into a cyberpunk fashionista at every opportunity)

So with a cliff hanger like that you HAVE to put another episode out before the end of the summer…

    Right guys?

    please?
